The other night the SO and I were at a dance. Lots of mutual friends, a few of her guy friends. It was hot in there, for sure. Her guy friend keeps saying that he's too hot - she enthusiastically tells him to take off his shirt right in front of me. Tacky and inconsiderate or cute and harmless? I took offense and got jealous for sure. if i were you, i'd simply cancel - without telling him that it's because of these two "friends". Next time he wants to take you somewhere, ask who's coming, and only go if the two "friends" aren't going - hopefully he'll catch the drift soon enough, and reluctantly choose between them and you.
